Growing eXp, building Independent Agent, and getting up to speak are three angles on the same job — giving New Zealand agents a fairer shot at their own freedom. I don’t think you fix an industry with one big move; you do it quietly, one better model and one honest conversation at a time. It’s slow work, and I’m alright with that. The future I want for agents here is a simple one: keep what you earn, work like yourself, and never have to sign your freedom away just to do the job well.
Project 01
Remote work takes some getting used to – and one of the challenging elements is not getting to know your colleagues quite as well as you could in person.
We live in a really noisy world, and a very noisy industry, so I wanted to quickly jot down a few ideas around ‘silence’ that might spark some thoughts.
As I was taking my morning walk earlier in the week and reflecting on the Auckland Football Club (AFC) win on Saturday, I started thinking about sport and performance.

Project 02
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about my business and my professional profile, and how it appears to those looking in and looking at.
I was listening to Micheal Kiwanuku the other day and I noticed this line (I always thought it was ‘You can live or you can die’) and it really got me thinking.
I had the pleasure of hosting a ‘back to basics’ accountability session with members of the team who wanted to be held accountable for basic metrics. I was expecting dozens of attendees, some fresh faces maybe, maybe some people who were struggling to get business together.

Project 03
Did I tell you that I spent some time travelling last month… The best bit about plane rides is reading, well when you get sick of movies anyway.
60 hours of traveling time in the space of a week… That was me last week, as I headed over to South Africa for my first eXp conference (eXpCon) as a part of the organisation.
I can’t start anything off this year without acknowledging those affected by weather events as we start 2026. My thoughts are with those families and communities.
